No. 26 Mandarin Mustangs

2009 Record: 3-7

The Coach: Robert Dean

The Word: To say it’s been a difficult two year period at Mandarin would be an understatement. A month before the 2007 season was to start, longtime coach JD Hall shockingly passed away. His replacement Jason Robinson was brought in 2008 from Orlando Olympia and had to deal with another blow when tailback Jarell Stewart drowned a few weeks into the 2009 season. This past summer, Robinson was fired a week before the spring game after sending explicit photos to his girlfriend over the cell phone. A week later, after the Mustangs were beat 26-0 to Ponte Vedra in the spring game, several players transferred out of the program.
