The Players: Austin Kennedy (Jr., QB/DB), Taylor Hogan (Sr., OL/LB), Zaybreion Gunter (Jr., RB/DB), Eric Maddox (Sr., RB/DB)
The Word: Defensive Coordinator Steve Shields was named interim coach after Andy Giddens resigned in June to pursue his Masters Degree. The move up to Class 2A hasn’t been kind so far being placed in a district with Raines, Ribault, Santa Fe, Suwannee and Baker County. The wing-T offense is led by Kennedy (708 passing yards) and Gunter (463 rushing yards). Hogan a versatile two-way standout leads the defense.
